This is great guys! Great work! I'm a retired kitchen guy so I know good work when I see it. I love all of it. My wife and I are doing a Farm kitchen right now as well. Your pictures have me thinking about sending in some before and after of ours. Just like you its the time we get to spend together during the project that makes the whole thing worth while. Great work. I cant say it enough! Lafayette House Painters
Because it is next to impossible to find out information about local painting contractors on the Internet, the adage “talk to neighbors” applies here. Some painting contractors display signs on the lawns of houses they are working on, but you find this more with general contractors and siding and replacement windows companies. So, other than the painter’s white panel van out front, you often do not know what is going on inside your neighbors’ houses. Lafayette House Painters

"I'm very impressed with the quality of his works and honesty which are the two key things I look for when hiring a contractor for a job. His price is also very reasonable. I live out of state and met with Antonio to give me a quote before hiring him. He is a great and easy guy to work with and he finished the job before the deadline and completed everything that we'd agreed upon. I'd definitely recommend Antonio to anyone and have him work on any projects I have in the future."
When determining the total cost of a home’s exterior project, you’ll want to include things like the trim, a garage, foundation, windows and doors. All work is calculated by square footage and sometimes by the linear foot, such as in the case of trim. Your contractor will give you a price for the entire project unless you specifically ask for each item separately. House Painting
"Working with Walter was the best experience I’ve received from Thumbtack, Facebook Market Place, even Yelp! He and his team worked diligently and detailed! They stayed focused on the job. The job turned out amazing, I wish I took before pictures but he fixed so many issues I thought would never be fixed. The detail and care he took while doing the job was at another level. He found a way to get me what I wanted at a budget I could handle, communicated each step of the way even pausing in areas to get approval before making his own call (even though his suggestions were always used because they were AWESOME!). When it came to punctuality he was on time each day and when he realized a little more hours were needed he explained why and provided an accurate time. Once completed he walked me through asked me to find any and all imperfections and he will fix it right away. Not only will I continue to work with Walter and his team, I’m referring as many people to him as I can. You honestly can’t get any better delivery on work and genuineness from someone else. Thank you again Walter and Team!" Lafayette House Painting

It’ll cost you between $500 and $1,000 to paint the exterior yourself. Not including paint, it’ll cost you no more than $200 to $300 at a home improvement store like Home Depot, Lowes or Menards. You may end up spending more if you buy high-quality products from specialized shops. Professionals can get the same supplies for about half what you’ll pay. Lafayette House Painters
If you have ornamental or colorful trees, shrubbery or floral selections around your home you should figure their colors into the color scheme selection that is made. These landscaping attributes will have an effect on how appealing the property is as a whole throughout the year. Homes that have a great deal of trees can make the property darker and cast shadows onto the home. Individuals will want to avoid darker colors for these situations. Lafayette House Painters
A single gallon of paint can run anywhere from $20 to $80 per gallon. Professionals get a contractor discount of anywhere from 25 to 50 percent. For rough siding, like stucco, you’ll need to use 10 to 20 percent more paint. Some textures, like wood and stucco, require extra paint because they have more surface to cover in a tiny area comparied to smooth siding. . Use the highest quality exterior paint your budget will allow for your project. It will look the nicest and save you money by offering better coverage and durability. Better coverage means fewer coats and fewer work hours. You’ll also go a few years longer without needing to shell out more cash for a new coat. How do you know how much paint you're paying for? "They cut a hole in the side of the house to put this thing in. I am handy-ish, but i know when i don't know stuff, so i contacted 20/20. There were a few hiccups in communication. I was prepared to dislike this guy and his work. He came in. He was nice. He went straight to work. He took out an old window unit and replaced it. I didn't just stand there and watch him do the work, but i was listening, there were opportunities to do the easy thing. Apparently, the old AC was supported by nothing except the wall, trim, caulk, and Jesus. He didn't know he'd have to do that extra, but he came prepared with a circular saw and an impact driver, not stuff you'd usually need for this job. He framed it. I heard some spray foam at some point so he sealed it. Trimmed it. The part that sold me is he ran out and got some touch up paint and made it look just as it did before. TLDR- He did a complete job, stuck to his estimate eventhough there were problems. He didn't just fix the problem, but made it look just as it did before he started." Lafayette House Painters
Every painting job develops a unique choreography as ladders go up and come down and tarps are unrolled and folded up. But two basic principles remain: 1) Start at the top and work down. 2) Work in the shade, out of the sun's glare. As the dance proceeds, keep an eye on the weather. Rain can wash freshly applied latex right off the wall, and a temperature dip below 50 degrees F two days after application can interfere with adhesion and curing and dull the sheen of glossy paints. (Latexes like Sherwin-Williams's Duration and Benjamin Moore's MoorGard Low Lustre are formulated to tolerate temps as low as 35 and 40 degrees, respectively.) Lafayette Home Painting
