"Working with Walter was the best experience I’ve received from Thumbtack, Facebook Market Place, even Yelp! He and his team worked diligently and detailed! They stayed focused on the job. The job turned out amazing, I wish I took before pictures but he fixed so many issues I thought would never be fixed. The detail and care he took while doing the job was at another level. He found a way to get me what I wanted at a budget I could handle, communicated each step of the way even pausing in areas to get approval before making his own call (even though his suggestions were always used because they were AWESOME!). When it came to punctuality he was on time each day and when he realized a little more hours were needed he explained why and provided an accurate time. Once completed he walked me through asked me to find any and all imperfections and he will fix it right away. Not only will I continue to work with Walter and his team, I’m referring as many people to him as I can. You honestly can’t get any better delivery on work and genuineness from someone else. Thank you again Walter and Team!"
"We had a very large project (2700 sq ft of popcorn removal and wall painting). He was responsive and met us every day at our house to walk us through what was being done as well as what was left. His estimates for both cost and timeline were spot on. There were no surprises and the quality on the job was top notch. This was an easy 5 stars and I will contact Luis in the future for all interior projects!" House Painting "They cut a hole in the side of the house to put this thing in. I am handy-ish, but i know when i don't know stuff, so i contacted 20/20. There were a few hiccups in communication. I was prepared to dislike this guy and his work. He came in. He was nice. He went straight to work. He took out an old window unit and replaced it. I didn't just stand there and watch him do the work, but i was listening, there were opportunities to do the easy thing. Apparently, the old AC was supported by nothing except the wall, trim, caulk, and Jesus. He didn't know he'd have to do that extra, but he came prepared with a circular saw and an impact driver, not stuff you'd usually need for this job. He framed it. I heard some spray foam at some point so he sealed it. Trimmed it. The part that sold me is he ran out and got some touch up paint and made it look just as it did before. TLDR- He did a complete job, stuck to his estimate eventhough there were problems. He didn't just fix the problem, but made it look just as it did before he started."
Expect paint supply costs to run between 15 percent and 25 percent of the total job. If you're using premium paint, expect to spend between $50 and $100 per gallon. Included in the estimate is the number of gallons that are needed as well as the number of coats that will be applied. Other supplies could include brushes, scaffolding and even power washers, depending on the scope of the paint job. This should be an itemized list that's easy to understand, with every dollar accounted for. Lafayette House Painters Painters often tint primer close to the color of the top coat, but Wallis thinks that's a recipe for "holidays," or missed spots. Instead, he tints his primer a contrasting color. "If I can see the color coming through, I know I need to apply more paint," he says. On the cottage shown in this story, he chose a gray-blue primer to go under a peach top coat. Lafayette House Painters When selecting a color scheme for the home’s exterior homeowners can choose color options that will correct flaws that they may feel exist with their home and property. Some examples include utilizing two shades of a single color to make a home appear appropriately sized when the home may be too large or too tall. To accomplish this effect individuals will want to place the darker tone on the upper level of the home’s exterior. Smaller windows can appear more proportionately sized by trimming them in a lighter tone of paint. Darker colors make a space or feature appear smaller. The same effect can be obtained for homes positioned further away from a curb. By using lighter tones the home will not feel camouflaged. Lafayette House Painting
